In this issue of ramp - EN : We say: The car – as a superlative expression of our yearning for self-determination and freedom – will truly learn to fly. Presumably it will do so even sooner than we can imagine. At the same time, however, flying cars are sure to be just one aspect of more complex solutions for the mobility and transport demands of the future.
The burning question remains: Who will come up with all these solutions? Engineers? Mechanics? Nerds? More than a few are betting on machine intelligence. And perhaps the intelligent car will just jolly well reinvent itself someday.
Another burning question: What do algorithms dream about?
